Carolyn provides psychotherapy and Brainspotting treatment via telehealth and in person for individuals and families. She specializes in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, and healing from covert narcissism.
Her passion for mental health and trauma recovery has extended beyond the walls of the therapy office into schools, courtrooms, and anywhere else in her community in need of an advocate for healing.
As owner and Lead Clinical Coach of The Healing Point, Carolyn offers psychotherapy services, coaching sessions, and professional supervision to encourage growth of opportunities for individuals and communities to heal and grow stronger towards a healthier future.
Carolyn graduated with a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2007 and has worked in a variety of settings to include community outreach, schools, in home care, and inpatient psychiatric facilities. She has sat on administrative boards at the hospital setting, managed acute psychiatric care units, and facilitated treatment team meetings early in her career.

Jennifer Campbell

Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with fifteen years of experience in the field. She received her Master's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and has experience treating mental health in children and families. Central to her practice is the belief in the transformative power of self-awareness and the capacity for growth within every individual. It is her privilege and passion to accompany individuals on their journey towards greater well-being, empowerment, and authenticity.
Her approach to the treatment of anxiety and depression is through evidence-based modalities and mindfulness techniques. She empowers clients to challenge negative thought patterns, develop effective coping skills, and cultivate resiliency. Many clients notice a gradual decrease in symptoms after the first month and continue to improve with the use of the learned techniques.

I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Millersville University in 2015 and my master’s degree in 2023 from Lenoir-Rhyne University. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA). I am committed to fostering authentic connections with my clients. I believe in the transformative power of genuine and empathetic interactions as well as creating a safe and open space for exploration and healing. In session, I prioritize authenticity, providing you with a
supportive environment where you can be yourself without judgment. Together, we embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth, navigating life’s challenges with honesty, compassion, and resilience. I am passionate about helping you build meaningful connections and guiding you towards a path of acceptance and well-being.
My counseling approach, inspired by Relational Cultural Theory (RCT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), centers on genuine connection and mindfulness. Together, we explore relationships, navigate emotions, and foster personal growth aligned with values. It’s a

Alexis is a compassionate and client-centered therapist who specializes in supporting clients through life’s transitions and challenges. She has a particular passion for working with new moms, college students, and adolescents, who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and stress management. Using a person-centered approach, Alexis meets each client with empathy, respect, and authenticity. She creates a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore what’s going on beneath the surface and begin the process of healing and growth. Alexis believes therapy should be a collaborative process—one that honors your voice, your pace, and your lived experience. You don’t have to have it all figured out. I’m a social worker and soon-to-be therapist who’s passionate about helping people feel seen, heard, and supported. I’m currently in my final year of the Master of Science in Social Work program at the University of Tennessee and will be interning at a private therapy practice as I continue growing in this field I love.Over the past four years, I’ve worked with individuals and families through both a domestic violence agency and local government services. Kaeley is a second-year counselor in training at UNC Pembroke, where she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With a passion for helping others, she provides psychotherapy through both telehealth and in-person sessions, catering to the individual's specific needs. Kaeley has a strong interest in specialties such as navigating life transitions, relationships, anxiety, and depression.
